Defence Holidays NQ
Defence Holidays NQ is a non-profit organisation started by the Soldiers of North Queensland back in 1972., to provide affordable holidays for Defence Force personnel and their families, former serving members, veterans, war widows, Police & Emergency Services, Correctional Officers, Defence contracted personnel and international allies.
The organisation’s aim is to make holidays more affordable by providing discounted rates for a variety of accommodation and tour options throughout Australia.
Defence Holidays NQ own and operate Cocos Holiday Apartments, ideally situated at Trinity Beach, Cairns – only 75m from the beach and 15-20 minutes drive north of Cairns CBD. The property consists of 5 x 1 bedroom apartments and 12 x 2 bedroom apartments, 2 with wheelchair access and all are air conditioned. The apartments are completely self contained with utensils and most appliances and have their own laundry. There is a swimming pool and spa on site and undercover parking is provided.
