Officer Commanding 1 Wing AAFC Townsville Queensland.
RAAF Airmen Aircrew Loadmaster Flight Sergeant. Vietnam Veteran
Commissioned RAAF Officer and first President of RAAF Association Townsville Branch Queensland Division.
As the Officer Commanding 1 Wing AAFC he led the wing to a new beginning and opened it up to modern technology, all who come into contact with Graham respected him not only as an officer of the RAAF or Officer Commanding 1 Wing AAFC but as a true Australian. Graham was truly remarkable you truly will be missed by all.
Graham you will be for ever present in our hearts for time memorial, in our thoughts the things we do, the way we talk, the way we walk, in our hands with things we do, Graham your spirit lives on in us all and with everyday life, it was indeed an honour and a privilege to be associated with you Graham lest we forget.

Thomas (Tiny) Campbell
on Wednesday 29th May 2019.
Thomas joined the RAAF on 5th July 1944, the day after his 18th birthday and served until 4th August 1976. He retired from the RAAF as a Warrant Officer Radio Technician (Air) and saw service with the British Commonwealth Occupational Forces in Japan at the end of World War2.
Tiny was 92 years of age.

. Vale Kenneth Charles Tweedie DFC
8th January 1923 – 30th December 2020
Ken joined the RAAF on 5th December 1941, graduating from the Empire Air Training Scheme as a qualified Navigator, Bomb Aimer and Air Gunner. In 1944 he joined No 460 SQN as a Nav on Lancaster bombers conducting 30 sorties deep over Germany. His efforts in Europe earned him the Distinguished Flying Cross and in 2015 he was recognized by the French Government for his role in the liberation of France during WWII and was awarded the Legion of Honour (Chevalier).
Ken was an inaugural member of the RAAF Association, Townsville Branch. Rest in Peace Ken and thank you for your service to Australia and the Royal Australian Airforce
