State Council

The Queensland Division State Council comprises the State Executive and two (2) Council Delegates from each branch.

The Division is honored to have as its Patron, Air Vice Marshal G.W. (Bill) Reed (Retd.)

State Council meets whenever necessary, at 0930 on the first Saturday of the month as follows:

  • February

  • March

  • May

  • July

  • September

  • October

  • November

The May meeting is generally held following the conclusion of the Annual Assembly of Delegates (AAD) and is held at the same venue as the AAD. The November meeting precedes the Christmas Luncheon, being held at the Geebung RSL on the last Saturday in November while all other meetings are held in the Salvation Army Citadel, Ann Street Brisbane.

All members are welcome to attend the Council meetings as observers.

Townsville Branch Executive and Committee

The Townsville Branch comprises a Branch Executive (President, 2 x Vice Presidents, Secretary and Treasurer) and a management committee (Branch Executive plus 3 x Ex-officio members, Welfare Officer and an AAFC Liaison Officer).

Patron for the branch is Air Commodore Tony Jones.

Branch meetings for all members are conducted on the second Sunday at 1000hrs each month with an Annual General Meeting conducted each March.  Executive/committee meetings are run on an as required basis.

Interested visitors are welcome to attend the monthly meetings as observers.
